Welcome To The Coachman Inn

Now established in North Yorkshire and the East Coast after many years of trading quietly. The Coachman Inn at Snainton (midway between Pickering & Scarborough) is currently enjoying it's recent success and well deserved new lease of life injected by James, Rita and Kay who have all been together in the hospitality business for more than 18 years.

This important, historic and imposing Grade II listed building, built in 1776 stands just on the outskirts of the village of Snainton and was the last Staging Post before Scarborough for the York Mail Coaches in year's gone bye.

Today, this charming and impressive 16th century former Coaching Inn is still a useful pit stop for travellers, offering customers from near and far a very warm welcome...

.....Whether you're calling in for a drink, simply visiting to have a bite to eat in our traditional Bar, dine in our elegant Restaurant, or have booked into one of our very comfortable bedrooms... you'll feel very much at home.  Our aim is to keep things simple, friendly and your visit memorable.
